The data we process

1. Visiting the website

On each visit, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser and device type. This data is used to run and secure the website and to fix errors. It is kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.

2. Quote request and contact form

When you fill in the quote form, we receive the information you enter: type of building, service requested, location and timing of the works, description of your project, any photos you attach, your name, email address and phone number, and your acceptance of this policy.

  • Why: to answer your request, arrange an on-site visit and prepare a quote.
  • Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual measures) and your consent.
  • Where: the request is stored in the website’s administration area, and a notification email is sent to our team. Attached photos are stored on the website’s server and are not published.
  • How long: 24 months after the last contact if no contract is concluded. If a contract is concluded, accounting documents are kept for ten years, as required by the Swiss Code of Obligations.

3. Contact by phone or email

If you write to us or call us, we process the information you give us in order to reply.

4. Audience measurement and cookies

The website uses tools to understand how it is used and to improve it:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC): visit statistics, pages viewed, where visits come from. They set cookies (for example “_ga”).
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): navigation analysis, with heat maps and anonymised session recordings, to spot usability problems.

You can refuse or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, or object to audience measurement by writing to us at agi@artisansgroup.immo. You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data with the opt-out add-on provided by Google.

The website also uses technical elements needed for it to work: a language cookie (Polylang), and the storage of your language choice and of the fact that the welcome animation has already played during your session.

5. Content and social networks

The website contains a link to our Facebook page. It is a simple link: no data is sent to Facebook unless you click on it. Once on that network, its own terms apply.

Who receives your data

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): hosting of the website and of quote requests.
  • Google and Microsoft: the audience measurement tools described above.
  • ATIE, which produced the website and provides its technical maintenance, may access the data strictly necessary for that task.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for advertising purposes.

Transfers abroad

Some of the providers mentioned (Google, Microsoft) may process data outside Switzerland, notably in the United States. These transfers rely on recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the provider’s certification under the Swiss–US data privacy framework.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to the website’s administration, protection against automated submissions. No transmission over the Internet is completely secure, however.

Your rights

You may, at any time and free of charge:

  • ask for access to the data we hold about you;
  • ask for it to be corrected or deleted;
  • object to processing or ask for it to be restricted;
  • ask to receive your data in a common format (portability);
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting past processing.

To exercise these rights, write to us at agi@artisansgroup.immo. We may ask for proof of identity and will reply within 30 days.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch.

Changes

We may update this policy, for example if the website changes or if the law changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
